The 2011 Sydney New Year’s Eve celebrations were televised live nationally on Channel 9 from 8:30pm.

104.1 2Day FM exclusively simulcasted the soundtracks for the 9pm Family Fireworks and Midnight Fireworks.

The 9pm Family Fireworks soundtrack featured the latest pop songs, and the Midnight Fireworks soundtrack included all Australian music including classical tracks as well as pop hits from Australia’s best talent.
