  • Session 2, gates open at 9.30pm and close at 11.30pm

Transport

Getting here

  • Public transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve with thousands of extra services running
  • Driving is not recommended with road closures and limited car parking available.
  • Catch transport to Central or Town Hall train stations or Gadigal and Central Metro Stations and continue on foot.
  • Accessible entrance and drop off point is Iron Wharf Place. Arrive before 8pm due to road closures.

Leaving the event

  • L1 Dulwich Hill Light rail services will not run between Convention and Central from 8pm. For Inner West light rail services walk to Convention light rail stop.
  • Trains and metro services run frequently from nearby Central Station.
  • Buses leave from Wynyard, QVB, Hyde Park and Central. Light rail services to the south east will leave from Central only after 7pm.
  • Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs
