Barangaroo designated accessible viewing area
Reserved for people with disability to enjoy with their family and friends.
Barangaroo is a great location for families to watch the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks. It features excellent views of the harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The site is suitable for people with a range of access requirements.
- The viewing area is at the top of a relatively flat slope.
- Facilities ad services are located on a slight incline away from the viewing area. This is an easy/medium difficulty to access.
- No shade. Bring a hat, sunscreen, raincoat or umbrella.
- No seating. Bring your own low folding chair only if required.
Enter at Gate H5, Hickson Road, Barangaroo.
The site opens at 6pm and closes at 12.30am.
Bookings essential. Your booking is non-transferable and access criteria apply.
Public transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve.
Wynyard station is about a 10 minute walk away via Wynyard Walk.
Circular Quay station is about a 15 minute walk away on a relatively flat path. Trains will not stop at Circular Quay between 6pm and 1am.
Driving is not recommended.
