Getting here

  • Ferries and buses operate regularly towards Taronga Zoo. Some road closures will be in place for general traffic.
  • Attendees are encouraged to leave the car at home as on-site and nearby street parking is very limited.

Leaving

  • After the fireworks limited ferries to Circular Quay will leave Taronga Zoo wharf, last service at 1:54am. Buses will run regularly towards Military Rd where you can connect with other bus services.
  • Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
