North Head
North Head has views to the fireworks from Manly.
The vantage point is 1.8 km from the entrance gate. There is no vehicle access on NYE and visitors need to be able to walk this distance.

Transport
Getting here
- Buses run regularly to Manly. You will need to continue on foot to reach North Head. Allow extra time.
- Last ferry to Manly leaves Circular Quay at 4:45pm. Last ferry to the city leaves Manly at 5pm. Buses will run between the city and Manly Wharf.
Leaving the event
- Pedestrian diversions will be in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you leave may be different to how you arrived. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
- Due to the midnight fireworks in the city, the first ferry to leave Manly Wharf will be at 12:30am
- Buses near Manly Wharf will use different stops due to road closures. Check signs and plan ahead.
