Observatory Hill Park designated accessible viewing area

Observatory Hill Park is a family friendly site with great views of the western side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.  The site capacity is for approximately 4,500 people and includes a designated accessible area located in front of and in the rotunda for those with accessible needs, their family and friends.  The designated accessible viewing area can accommodate up to 50 people.  You will need a wristband to book this area.

Site entry

  • Site opens: 10am

  • Enter at Upper Fort Street, Millers Point

  • The viewing area is up to 80 metres from the entry point.

Public transport  is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve. Wynyard Station is located 1.25km from the Observatory Hill Park entry gate. Circular Quay is located 1km from the Observatory Hill Park entry gate.
