Location & Access
Nawi Cove, Barangaroo
Open in Google Maps- The only way to enter the Barangaroo Reserve New Year's Eve vantage point is through the entrance at Nawi Cove.
- You must access Nawi Cove via Wulugul Walk, entering from Barangaroo South.
- No other entrances to Barangaroo Reserve will be open.
Transport options
Getting here
- Catch public transport with extra service running.
- Driving is not recommended with limited car parking available and major road closures in place from midday.

Train
- Exit Wynyard Station using the Barangaroo exit from Wynyard Walk.
- Follow the arrows north along Hickson Road. Turn left onto Barton Street. Turn right onto Wulugul Walk and continue to the Nawi Cove entry.
Metro
Exit Barangaroo station, turn right down Hickson Road. It's a 700 meter walk to the Nawi Cove entry point along Wulugul Walk.
Walk
From City North (The Rocks/Circular Quay area). Do not to enter from Towns Place or Argyle Street. Take the Wynyard tunnel through to Barangaroo South and follow the arrows to the Nawi Cove entrance.
Getting home
Train
For access to Wynyard station continue through Hickson Road to Wynyard Walk or through Wulugul Walk to Wynyard Walk.
Metro
- Frequent metro services will be departing from Barangaroo til the early hours of New Year's Day.
- There will be no access to Barangaroo metro station from Nawi Cove or Wulugul Walk - access from Hickson Road only.
Light rail
Light rail services to the south-east will leave from Central only after 7pm.
Bus
- Buses leave from Wynyard, QVB and Hyde Park.
- For access to Wynyard bus interchanges continue through Hickson Road to Wynyard Walk or through Wulugul Walk to Wynyard Walk
