Hickson Road, Millers Point, Barangaroo
- From Barangeroo Metro, head south along Hickson Rd, turn right into Barton Ave past Crown, turn right at Wulugul Walk and head north to Nawi Cove entrance.
- If coming from Wynyard Walk go to Wulugul Walk and enter from Nawi Cove.

Transport
Getting here
- Public transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve, with thousands of extra services running.
- Barangaroo Reserve is a short walk from Barangaroo metro station. Note, Barangaroo metro station will be closed from 5pm to 11:45pm to safely manage crowds in the area. If you’re arriving after 5pm use Wynyard train station or Martin Place metro and continue on foot.
- Wynyard station is about a 1.1km walk away. Use the Wynyard Walk exit and continue towards the reserve via Wulugul Walk.
- Driving is not recommended with limited car parking available and major road closures in place from midday.

Leaving the event
- Pedestrian diversions will be in place on New Year's Eve.
- The way you leave may be different to how you arrived.
- Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
- Barangaroo metro station will reopen by 11.45pm with frequent services running throughout the early hours of New Year's Day. There will be no access to Barangaroo metro station from Nawi Cove or Wulugul Walk - access from Hickson Rd only.
- For access to Wynyard station or bus interchanges continue via Hickson Rd to Wynyard Walk or via Wulugul Walk to Wynyard Walk
- Limited ferries run after the midnight fireworks, services will be busy so have a backup plan.
- Buses leave from Wynyard, QVB and Hyde Park.
- Light rail services to the south-east will leave from Central only after 7pm.
