Getting here
- The closest train station is Milsons Point. Please note trains from the city will not stop at Milsons Point after 7pm. Arrive early or use North Sydney Station instead.
- Buses will not run to Milsons Point, bus passengers will need to walk from North Sydney Station. Milsons Point ferry wharf will close from 3pm with very limited services operating after the midnight fireworks.
- Plenty of additional trains and buses will be operating. Follow the directions of NSW Police and staff on site.
- Major roads will close from 5pm, leave the car at home. See road closure information.
Leaving
- Milsons Point station will have crowd control measures in place after the fireworks, be patient and follow the directions of staff on site. Consider walking up to North Sydney Station to catch a service home.
- Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
